Bad Behavior Isn’t Cool

A lot of students think they can do whatever they want in school. They rack up detention slips and suspensions like they’re trophies. But, I guess they don’t realize that those things can be destructive when applying to college.

Teachers are less prone to give recommendations to students who act up in school. And all college apps ask if you’ve ever been suspended or expelled and why. Colleges don’t want to admit students with behavior troubles. Being disruptive gives you a bad reputation and it doesn’t work in your favor.

So, all students should always try to not get in trouble and be polite to your teachers because they ultimately are the ones who will recommend you and you need to have them on your side to have colleges consider you.
