So lately, we’ve been having representatives from different colleges come to our school and discuss on-site admissions. Today, Wayne State attended my school and the admissions counselor told us all the perks of applying with them on-site.
On-sites really do take the hassle out of sending all of those applications. With some schools, the application fee is waived and you can get to ask an admissions counselor any question you want directly. With paper and online apps, you might not get all of the answers you want about admissions or anything else you want to personally know.
I’m not sure about all colleges, but some schools do practice the above things I stated. On-site admissions also expedite the admissions process because you don’t have to wait weeks and weeks, the decision is usually made pretty soon.
