I’m happy to say that I finally decided upon a college. I’ll be attending Bowling Green State University in the fall. I was accepted to all of the schools I applied to, but BG seemed to be the best fit and I’m very satisfied with my choice of attending an out-of-state school. I feel that it was a lot better than just staying in state. I’ll become more independent and able to live on my own. Now the thing is finding scholarships. It’s a real scavenger hunt, trying to find all of the free money. My holiday break is going to be filled with FAFSA and scholarship apps. My advice to anyone planning to go to college is: start looking for scholarships early because it will alleviate all of the stress you can experience as a senior looking for scholarships.

I am seriously considering attending BG as well, but I still have a few deciding factors to go through before I make my final decision. What pushed you over the edge and made you say "yes! this is for me"?
