Aside from just going to class, and hanging out with friends; what are some good activities that one could partake in outside of the “school life”?

    There are a ton!

Try to join an organization or student group that interests you. Most of the times, they’re will be ones in your Major or even just one that is something you like. That way, you’ll be spending time with people that are interested in the same thing as you and also getting involved to make a difference on campus. I’m President of UM-Flint’s Student Communications Association and I’m a Communications Major. I love it because it brings together people in the same field to volunteer and do things on campus. There’s also many fun clubs you can join too… like sports or even video games!

Go to the Rec. Center! This may sound silly, but you can meet new people, get healthy, and even study while working out.

Go to some school events. These always have really great information or fun activities. Plus, most of the time there’s free food!

Be apart of a youth group.  Go out with friends and volunteer with them. You can even join some kind of sport, club or even be aprt of fine arts
