About Us
Your Child, a nonprofit coalition of Michigan-based education and family organizations, has launched the “It’s MI Life” initiative to help foster a culture of education in our state. Students, parents, teachers and school administrators are invited and encouraged to join in this effort.
Capitalizing on today’s social networking trends, a new Web site with a youth-oriented interface, www.ItsMiLife.com, is designed to engage kids across Southeast Michigan directly in conversations about college and life after high school.
The site offers a non-intimidating, peer-to-peer conversational entry-point, while at the same time providing opportunities for college scholarships, career resources and cool prizes.
