ACT

Ugh..More Work

As much as well all hate to have to do more work than what is required out of us everyone should look into some ACT and SAT prep courses. I wasn't to thrilled when my parents told me I had to take a couple of these, but after they t cccc  old me it could bump up my ACT scores Guaranteed by 2-3pts that was a major factor. These 2-3pts can make a major difference in whether or not you get a decent scholarship or an excellent scholarship. So this is something to think about. Don't think of it has extra work think of it as free money.

Good Luck,

Ready Or Not! Here Comes College

As a high-school senior, with an undeniable record of figuring things out a little too late, I realize that this is my last year. My last year to freak out about high-school. My last year to be able to come home and curl up with a book, ignoring the outside world.

My last year.

It's sad because everything you do as a senior--every dance, every club meeting, every outing with friends--you think about things as your last. I know that life isn't going to end, but this life is. High school is almost done with.

Studying for the ACT: Two stories of perfect scores

I recently spoke with two high school students who managed to get perfect scores on their ACTs. Granted, both students have excellent GPAs, but I found that these two had very different methods of studying but similar qualities.

Study Methods

To keep things straight, I 'll call the first student Steven and the second student Josh. Steven had the most annoying answer when I asked him his study method: He didn't study until the night before. "I'm just really good at standardized tests," he told me.

First Blog!

Hi everyone!  This is my first blog!  I'll start by telling you about myself.  My name is Armani and I just finished my sophomore year in high school.  I'm in a couple school clubs and also participate in cross country, basketball and lacrosse, and I'm stressing myself out more by taking honors and AP classes!  With my junior year starting in the fall, I'm even more nervous for the ACT and SAT.  I'll use my first blog to share some info I learned about taking the ACT.  About 2 months ago I took a practice ACT just to see what I needed to work on.  Whe
